Abbey Secures European Contract With Tereos Syral
Abbey Logistics Group, the greener European logistics provider is delighted to announce a new contract win with ‘Tereos Syral’ to transport bulk liquid food products from its plant in Aalst, Belgium to various delivery points in the UK.
The contract marks a significant step forward in Europe for Abbey since entering the European bulk liquids Market in early 2010. The long term deal is worth in excess of One million euros per year to Abbey.
Commercial Director for Abbey, Dave Coulson said “we are delighted to win another significant contract with a well-known company such as ‘Tereos Syral’. In addition to our existing European volumes with other major European bulk liquid manufacturers we are now starting to build a high profile customer base on the continent from which we are able to build a solid & reliable infrastructure”.
Abbey Logistics Group employs 300 people in the UK operating 200 trucks based at 9 depots, competing in markets such as bulk liquid transport (UK & Europe), bulk powder transport (UK & Europe), palletised transport and warehousing in the UK.
