The 14th GPCA SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE

The two-year battle with COVID-19 has positioned the chemical supply chains in the spotlight. This ongoing crisis has provided an opportunity for the regional industry to reflect and rethink their supply chains’ exposure to current and potential risks. Today, it is imperative to streamline their practices to adopt new strategies and be resilient to disruptions.

The 2022 Multimodal show, was attended by 10,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors.  Our exhibitors are all leaders in their fields – and offer solutions for all kinds of shippers and BCOs.  Companies represented in 2023 include Maersk, Malcolm Logistics, ONE, Kuehne+Nagel, DP World, G&W, Maritime, Peel Ports, MSC, Samskip, Eurotunnel, ABP, CEVA, Howard Tenens, BoxTop, Norlink Ports, CMA CGM, Swain Group, COSCO/Seabridge, CCL, Forth Ports, Denholm, APL Logistics, Port of Tyne and NYSHEX.

Also featured are several exhibitor pavilions – most notably from BIFA, UKWA and RFG – which will host member companies as well as providing networking areas within the show.

Free registration for visitors to attend is now open on the newly launched website and also live is booking for the Multimodal Awards evening hosted in 2023 by Fifth Gear on Five presenter, Vicki Butler-Henderson.  Awards tickets sold out in 2022.  The Awards celebrate excellence and best practice across the logistics industry and are independently voted for by thousands of readers of the Multimodal newsletter and previous attendees with the winners announced at a gala dinner at VOX NEC Birmingham on the first evening of Multimodal.

Multimodal also features thought provoking, free to attend, seminar sessions that bring together industry leaders as well as transport and logistics organisations – further details will be announced in February 2023 – but the team is already working on the sessions on modal shift, sustainability, energy, supply chain resilience, a peak-season preview, short-sea connectivity, technology and people – especially “Generation Logistics”.
