Rotational Molding Company Brings IBC Containers In-House

Rotomolding leader, Granger Plastics Company has manufactured and produced Intermediate Bulk Containers (also known as IBC’s or IBC Containers) for a number of industry leading companies for nearly 20 years. IBC containers are extremely durable tanks that come in a heavy duty, powder coated steel frame and are used for bulk material handling, transport and storage. The hopper bottom IBC tank is rotationally molded and has always been produced by Granger Plastics rotational molding operations. The steel frame for this container however has been outsourced in the past, causing reliance on an outside vendor to complete these items. Granger Plastics Company offers an in-house metals shop used primarily for mold making, mold repair and some metal components. Now the production of the steel frame for Granger’s IBC’s is being manufactured completely in Granger’s metal shop, allowing Granger Plastics additional production and pricing control.

Intermediate bulk containers are used for a wide variety of applications including chemical, fluid or dry goods for food and construction applications. Granger offers a 330 or 400 gallon size with a 33 or 45 degree discharge hopper bottom. The units can also be customized with a bottom or side discharge as well as custom racks for specific height or requirement needs. Granger Plastics IBC containers are also stack-able for use or storage options.

Granger Plastics Company is an internationally recognized rotational molding company.
