The move is part of company strategy to acquire businesses operating in appropriate growth sectors. The Jeffrey’s operation is expected to complement the Group’s existing depot structure, further strengthening its position in the Midlands.
The Jeffrey’s Haulage name will be retained and it will operate as a stand-alone company within the Swain Group, operating as part of the Logistics Division.
