Hapag-Lloyd’s Ken Rohlmann named new CINS Deputy Chairman

Hapag-Lloyd’s Ken Rohlmann has been elected to the position of Deputy Chairman of CINS, the Cargo Incident Notification System.

He holds the position of Senior Director – Dangerous Goods at the German global liner shipping company and has been on the Board of CINS since 2013. CINS is an international association created in 2011 with the aim of increasing safety in the supply chain, reducing the number of cargo incidents on board ships and highlighting the risks caused by certain cargoes and/or packing failures.

Rohlmann takes over from outgoing Deputy Chairman Dirk Vande Velde and his term of office will run until the end of 2019.
