Two new members appointed to HOYER Advisory Board

Hamburg-based logistics specialist HOYER has appointed two new members to its Advisory Board. Hans-Georg Frey, Chairman of the Board of Management of the intra-logistics company Jungheinrich, and Michael Ziesemer, Vice President of the Supervisory Board of Endress+Hauser, President of the Association of German Electrical and Electronics Industry (ZVEI) and Vice President of the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI), joined the Board at the beginning of 2017.

The HOYER Group’s Advisory Board is now comprised of six members: the Chairman Thomas Hoyer, Martina Hoyer-Hertel, Dr Uwe Franke, Dr Rolf Stomberg, Hans-Georg Frey and Michael Ziesemer – that’s two shareholders and four external advisors.

The members of the Advisory Board monitor worldwide developments to identify emerging trends. They observe the competitive environment, and examine changes in the commercial field in order to establish whether they can lead to innovation or improvements in efficiency. The Advisory Board makes recommendations at regular meetings with the shareholders and the management, and is available to provide expert advice. Additionally, it is an independent body that oversees financial planning, the investment volume and human resources policy.
