Gateway Hamburg on show in Munich

The Port of Hamburg is among Europe’s most flexible and high-performance universal ports which is especially notable for its diverse range of logistic services, including those for import and export freight of all types. Around 60 companies from the Hamburg region, representing the port, transport and logistics sectors are showcasing from tomorrow (9th – 12th May) under the ‘Gateway Hamburg’ umbrella at transport logistic 2017 in Munich, the world’s largest logistics trade fair. The variety of exhibitors reflects Hamburg’s diversity of services as a universal port and logistics centre: Terminals for container, bulk cargo and multi-purpose shipments; shipping companies and liner agents; rail transport operators; transport providers; container packing stations; experts on hazardous cargoes, chemicals and the environment; vocational and further training institutes; and many more.

The fair stand organised by Port of Hamburg Marketing and Logistik-Initiative Hamburg covers one of the largest exhibition areas at the trade fair and is located in the centre of Hall B3 (Stand 209/310). The ‘Gateway Hamburg’ fair stand covers 950 square metres, among those represented being Hamburg Port Authority, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA), Brunsbüttel Ports and COSCO SHIPPING Europe, each with their own stand area.
