US patent for bulk liner safety system

For many years the liner industry has been trying to provide a safer and more cost effective solution to secure the area of the container doors when loading bulk materials. Eceplast says that several attempts hadn’t fully succeeded until the Italian firm developed its own model – the Barless Liner – which has obtained a US patent.

Eceplast says the BSS (Barless Safety System) reduces packaging costs but, more importantly, increases safety as well as simplifying operations when moving free-flowing bulk goods in maritime containers. The BSS is suitable for any conventional discharging equipment and is adjustable according to specific HSE measures requested by the receiving customer.

Because of the increased level of safety for operators, Eceplast is willing to license the model to other manufacturers interested in delivering this solution for end users.
