Johan Wramsby becomes Director IBC Logistics Americas

With Johan Wramsby, the international logistics company HOYER gains an experienced new colleague to strategically expand its logistics activities relating to Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) Services.

With more than nineteen years of professional experience in Hoover CS, one of the world’s leading leasers of stainless-steel Intermediate Bulk Containers, Johan Wramsby has proved his skills in various positions, including executive leadership with global responsibility for IBC manufacturing, leasing and service centre operations. Wramsby now supports the HOYER Group team in Houston/Texas as Director IBC Logistics Americas. According to Stephanie Muhs, Director IBC Logistics of the HOYER Group, “We are very pleased that we were able to gain for our team Johan Wramsby, an experienced expert in the American market.”

Wramsby will strategically expand further the existing operations in the area of IBC logistics in America. Johan Wramsby says, “I am most delighted to be part of HOYER, a global leader in logistics and IBC solutions with a solid international business reach who drives innovation in all areas.”

The HOYER Group has at its disposal a global fleet of 50,000 IBCs. America is one of the most important growth regions for this business area. IBCs are an ideal alternative between a drum and a tanker to transport liquid products. They have a volume from 500 to 1,100 litres and are available in various grades of stainless steel and with dangerous goods approval. The fleet consists mainly of standardised IBC types, and many individual small containers with the required accessories is also available. HOYER offers comprehensive services not only for its own IBCs but also for those of customers. Individually customised IBC packages ranging from leasing and modular combined services to a comprehensive full service enable maximum flexibility.

These are based both on the international network and also on the steadily growing IBC fleet. Globally, HOYER undertakes the on-time planning of IBC capacities, careful cleaning and maintenance, or complex transport logistics – thus enabling companies in the chemical, cosmetics and foodstuffs industries to concentrate fully on their core business. The international logistics specialist sees itself as an innovative solution provider, and places special importance on an efficient, sustainable service concept tailored to the customer in all areas of application.
