Brenntag chooses Workday as strategic partner to shape its global HR management

Brenntag has signed a multi-year partnership with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), a provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, to build a global People 360° platform to streamline and scale people and HR processes across its global organisation.

Brenntag acquires Aik Moh Group, significantly expanding its industrial chemicals and value-added service footprint in South-East Asia.

“Brenntag is partnering with key technology companies like Workday to modernise our digital business architecture, to increase transparency and efficiency of our processes and to improve the way we use data.

“One of Brenntag’s core values is caring for our people, and putting our people and their development at the core of our global processes will be instrumental in moving Brenntag forward,” explains Ewout van Jarwaarde, chief transformation officer and member of the board of management at Brenntag SE.

Critical for consistency

“We are delighted to welcome Brenntag as a new customer. It is becoming increasingly important for companies in the many sectors and markets to rethink their HR management and make complex data transparent on not only a regional but also global level,” says Angelique de Vries, president EMEA, Workday.”

“To build resilience in a dynamic market environment, insights based on data are critical for enterprise-wide consistency and context to add value, and many of our customers recognise Workday can deliver this.”
