The service, which has already started, uses traction provided by railway Fuori Muro Impresa Ferroviaria, in which Metrocargo Italia holds a 28.6% stake.
Multimodal operator Metrocargo Italia has been offering ‘door-to-door’ services between Italy and France since 2012. It also runs the only intermodal service between Italy and France through Ventimiglia.
