Argent Energy have a storage facility in Dagenham which needed UCO urgently taken to its refineries in Ellesmere Port and Motherwell.
With Suttons’ strategically located depot network, they were able to respond quickly and come up with an efficient solution to ensure the safe delivery of product.
The movement of UCO requires a lagged tank with steam coils because the product can thicken if the temperature drops. Suttons were able to provide the specialist equipment due to its extensive fleet size and scale.

Suttons were able to provide a bespoke solution based on their Gretna, Ellesmere Port and Southeast depot locations to be able to collect significant volumes in a very tight time schedule over the Christmas period whilst being able to support the movements of this material with their steaming facilities and specific tanker requirements.
