Advario takes full ownership of Advario Helios Singapore

Advario has announced the successful acquisition of the remaining stake in Advario Helios Singapore from Macquarie Helios Holdings Limited.

With this transaction, Advario now holds 100% ownership of Advario Helios Singapore.

The Helios terminal is strategically located on the south end of Jurong Island, Singapore, and plays a key role in Singapore’s bunkering ecosystem.

The 503,000 m3 storage facility supplies industrial gases to Jurong Island and handles a range of fuels and industrial gases.

With ample waterfront access and room for expansion, the terminal is well-positioned for the storage and logistics of future energy solutions, low carbon ammonia and methanol, biofuels, and eventually hydrogen.

This acquisition reflects Advario’s strong confidence in Singapore’s strategic direction and its strong support for the country’s national agenda on sustainable development. Furthermore, it underscores the long-term commitment to the ambitious energy goals of the region.

“We’re excited to deepen our investment in Singapore, reaffirming our long-standing position as a key player in Singapore’s energy sector” said Bas Verkooijen, CEO of Advario.

“This acquisition builds on our ongoing commitment to support Singapore’s ambitious energy transition goals and the country’s long-term potential as a global new energy hub. In addition, it aligns with Advario’s strategy to evolve our assets and drive sustainable growth while contributing to a more sustainable future.”

Having four terminals already operational in Singapore, this acquisition strengthens Advario’s footprint in the region and to further support its customers and partners with integrated storage solutions as they transition to cleaner energy sources.
