This partnership marks a significant step toward more sustainable logistics and greater operational efficiency, particularly in the key transport corridor between Kaunas and Duisburg.
The agreement covers among others the delivery of 36 NiKRASA 3.0 adapters, which allow non-craneable semi-trailers to be loaded onto rail quickly and easily, significantly improving the efficiency of intermodal transport.
With around 90% of Europe’s truck fleet being non-craneable, the NiKRASA system is a game-changer for freight logistics, enabling trailers to be loaded from road to rail in just two minutes without requiring changes to existing terminal or rail infrastructure.
This innovation supports the growing demand for combined transport, which plays a key role in reducing emissions and making supply chains more sustainable.
