A2B-online Goes from Strength-to-Strength at London Thamesport

Dutch-based transport company A2B-online Container B.V. has added a fifth weekly sailing on its service between Hutchison Ports London Thamesport and Moerdijk in The Netherlands.

The innovative shortsea multimodal operator now offers a near-daily frequency with arrivals at the Kent port each week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Commenting on the new sailing, Mark Taylor, Director, London Thamesport, said: “London Thamesport offers its customers a service tailored to their specific demands and we are delighted that A2B-online continues to go from strength-to-strength. Demand in the short-sea container market continues to grow as shippers look for a reliable and predictable service offering which is something we deliver by working closely with our customers and maintaining a sharp focus on service-delivery.”

Michael van Keulen, Managing Director of A2B-online, said: “We have been working with London Thamesport for 11 years. Their dedication, flexibility and focus on operational excellence match our values and have helped drive our growth over that time. We look forward to building on our relationship and continuing together to deliver a consistent and high-quality service to our customers.”

A2B-online has already extended its reach into Europe in 2025 with two new sustainable onward carriage options; a new barge service between Moerdijk and Duisburg, and the launch of A2B-online Express, an intermodal rail service between Moerdijk and Melzo in Italy.
