Stolt-Nielsen reports ‘solid profitability’ in latest results

Stolt-Nielsen Limited has reported unaudited financial results for the second quarter ending May 31, highlighting solid profitability in the face of a challenging business environment.

The company posted a second-quarter net profit of €69.2 million on revenues of €656 million, down from a net profit of €92.2 million and revenues of €681.8 million in the same quarter of 2024.

For the first half of 2025, net profit reached €208.5 million on revenues of €1.28 billion, compared to a net profit of €187.8 million on revenues of €1.33 billion in the first half of 2024. The 2025 figures include €69.2 million in one-off gains from the step-up of equity investments in Avenir LNG Limited (Avenir) and Hassel Shipping 4 (HS4).
