Leadership change at EFTCO
The European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations (EFTCO) has announced the appointment of Yannick Timmel as its new vice-president, following a recent vote by the board.
Timmel, a long-standing figure in the tank cleaning sector, currently serves on the board of APLICA (Association Professionnelle des Laveurs Intérieurs de Citernes Agréés), EFTCO’s French member association.
He is also professionally active in the family-run cleaning stations TIMMEL FRÈRES, based in Beinheim, France.
EFTCO stated that it was looking forward to a productive and long-term collaboration with Timmel.
His vision is to support the organisation’s mission of enabling a sustainable future for tank cleaning services and helping the industry respond to evolving demands across the logistics chain.
EFTCO will now be jointly led by president Erwig Seliaerts and his new vice-president, supported by a committed and active board of directors.
EFTCO also took the opportunity to express its gratitude to outgoing vice president Damien Becquet, who retired this year after many years of dedicated service.
The federation acknowledged his longstanding contributions and leadership, which have helped shape EFTCO’s direction over the past decade.
