PACKLIANCE has been created to help producers and manufacturers across the EU comply with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), offering practical guidance and implementation support for the complex rules surrounding Extended Producer Responsibility. The company operates under the guiding principle: “Rules multiply. We simplify.”
Jan Bauer, Managing Director of PACKLIANCE GmbH, explained: “With PACKLIANCE, we created a dedicated partner to guide and support companies on their path towards PPWR conformity.”
Integrated consulting and implementation services
PACKLIANCE starts each client engagement with a comprehensive assessment, including gap and risk analyses, to identify areas of non-compliance. Its approach is supported by digital tools and focuses on industrial and commercial packaging of all material types.
The company’s services cover four main areas:
Assessment – Identifying roles and obligations, performing gap analyses and hosting workshops
Compliance process support – Preparing technical documentation, managing data platforms and liaising with authorities
EU-wide EPR compliance support – Advising on, registering and reporting quantities to national systems
Authorised representative services – Acting on behalf of producers and manufacturers within the EU
Proactive support in a changing regulatory landscape
The PPWR is expected to evolve further through delegated acts and implementing measures over the coming years. PACKLIANCE offers ongoing support to keep clients informed on areas such as labelling requirements, recycled content, reuse targets, design-for-recycling guidelines, and verification procedures.
Maria Hentze, Business Director of PACKLIANCE GmbH, said: “The PPWR will fundamentally shape the packaging landscape in the coming years. We help companies to prepare early for these new requirements and to design their processes to be both PPWR-compliant and efficient.”
PACKLIANCE aims to combine regulatory expertise with network competence, providing a single point of support for companies navigating Europe’s increasingly complex packaging legislation.
