Greiwing honours jubilarians

This year, the Greiwing group of companies honoured 47 ‘jubilarians’ at nine locations for their loyalty.

The logistics service provider celebrated their long-standing employees, who can boast 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or even 35 years within the group of companies – 700 years in total. In recognition of their commitment and these significant milestones, the management presented each with a certificate and a gift.

“When employees accompany us for decades, it shows that we have a work culture in which you can grow,” said Jürgen Greiwing, managing partner. “Their loyalty and extensive knowledge enable us to continue to shape the future of our group of companies.”

Over the course of the year, the management thanked the 47 employees at the Greven, Worms, Wesel, Duisburg, Leipheim, Burghausen, Barby, Münchsmünster and Hamburg locations for this continuous commitment. Among them were employees from a wide variety of departments and positions, from truck drivers and warehouse employees to scheduling, administration and sales.

Ludger Wieskamp (pictured in between Jürgen and Roland Greiwing) celebrated a special anniversary this year: The freight forwarding manager at Greiwing logistics for you in Greven has been part of the company for 35 years. Starting in January 1990 as a forwarding agent, he now heads the scheduling of silo logistics.

“We are pleased that Ludger has been with us for three and a half decades. His commitment, his direct manner and his solution-oriented approach make working with him particularly enriching,” Greiwing emphasised.
