Liquid Bulk Symposium returns to New Orleans in April

The 2026 Liquid Bulk Symposium will take place at the Port of New Orleans on 8 April, bringing together professionals from across the liquid bulk logistics, ISO tank and flexitank sectors for a full day of insight, discussion and networking.

The event is hosted by the International Freight Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of New Orleans (IFFCBANO) in cooperation with the Port of New Orleans and the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO).

Held at the Port of New Orleans’ administrative building at 1350 Port of New Orleans Place, the symposium marks its fourth year as a key industry gathering.

Attendees can expect a comprehensive programme running from morning through early evening, including expert-led sessions on market trends, operational developments and emerging opportunities in the global liquid bulk supply chain.

Registration opens at 9am, followed by a mix of presentations, panel discussions and networking breaks, with lunch provided on-site.

An evening reception will conclude the day’s agenda, offering further opportunities to connect with industry peers.

Additional activities surrounding the symposium include an open house hosted by Freedom Intermodal on 7 April and an optional golf outing on 9 April, which many participants traditionally stay on to enjoy.

While no hotel blocks are reserved, most visitors choose accommodation in downtown New Orleans, within easy reach of the venue.

The 2026 Liquid Bulk Symposium promises to deliver valuable market intelligence and foster collaboration across the sector, reinforcing New Orleans’ role as a vital hub for liquid bulk transportation.
