HOYER Group improves EcoVadis score and delivers top results in SQAS audits

The HOYER Group has further improved its performance in key quality and sustainability assessments despite globally challenging conditions.

In recent months, the global bulk logistics provider consistently achieved scores of over 90 points in SQAS audits across workshops, cleaning, and depot operations, as well as road and intermodal transport and Gas Logistics, and continuously improved these results.

At the same time, the company was once again awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal and increased its overall score from 78 to 83 points, placing it in the 97th percentile worldwide.

With this latest rating, the HOYER Group underscores the continuous further development of its sustainability management. EcoVadis evaluates companies based on a standardised model covering the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The results confirm progress across all categories and reflect the consistent implementation of corresponding measures.

Compared to the previous year, HOYER improved its performance in all four assessment areas. The most significant gains were achieved in the areas of environment and ethics. Further improvements were also recorded in labour and human rights as well as sustainable procurement.

In parallel with the progress achieved in the EcoVadis rating, the HOYER Group has also delivered consistently strong results in other relevant quality and sustainability assessments in recent months.

In SQAS audits across the business lines cotac, Road & Intermodal, and Gas Logistics, scores of over 90 points were regularly achieved and continuously improved. In addition, the Group’s entire quality management system was recently successfully recertified in accordance with ISO 9001.

These developments underline HOYER’s holistic approach to systematically advancing sustainability, quality and operational excellence.

“Being awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal once again and improving our score in economically challenging times demonstrate that we are continuously advancing. Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy, which we systematically and measurably drive forward,” said Björn Schniederkötter, chief executive officer of the HOYER Group.

Thies Grage, Director SHEQS (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality & Sustainability) of the HOYER Group, also emphasises the progress: “The results demonstrate the continuous improvement of our processes and structures in sustainability and quality management. They are the result of the joint efforts of many areas across the company and underline our commitment to consistently implementing responsible business practices.”
