The platform brings together training and digital tools covering ADR and dangerous goods road transport, IMDG Code (sea transport), IATA dangerous goods awareness, ATEX explosion safety, confined-space working, asbestos awareness, Lockout/Tagout procedures, chemical tanker loading and unloading, lithium battery safety, incident management and dangerous goods storage. Courses are delivered online at individual pace, allowing flexible deployment across multiple sites.
Developed by SafetyNet International Limited, the platform targets not only health and safety specialists but also supervisors, warehouse staff, transport planners, dangerous goods personnel, contractors and operational managers. ‘Many organisations recognise that training and compliance are essential, but finding practical, specialist and affordable resources can still be difficult,’ said LuciĆ«n Govaert, CEO of SafetyNet International. ‘Our aim is to make professional safety knowledge easier to access and easier to apply.’
Beyond e-learning, Yoursafetystore.co.uk offers work permit management systems, incident tracking, inspection audits and compliance monitoring tools. Specialist e-books and examination preparation materials are also available. The platform supports both direct dangerous goods handlers and wider supply chain participants seeking to strengthen internal competence and demonstrate employee training for regulatory purposes.
The launch represents part of a wider international strategy to provide regional safety platforms. ‘Safety should never be treated as a box-ticking exercise,’ Govaert added. ‘Well-trained employees, clear procedures and accessible compliance tools contribute to better decisions, fewer incidents and stronger organisations.’
