EnergyLink will provide services for the fuels, bitumen and oils markets, available through a flexible contracting model. The launch of EnergyLink will be accompanied by a £5 million investment in new assets to provide greater capacity in its growing bulk tanker division. The new equipment is being rolled out now and will have a UK wide presence.
Chris Fenton, Wincanton’s managing director, said of EnergyLink: “Through increasing our tankers fleet as well as consistently improving our driver training, we are addressing the needs of our customers, working on a collaborative basis to ensure that our fleet remains fuel efficient and effective. These new vehicles will give our customers the ability to react to a changing market.”
