The new system allows container owners to build a bespoke upload template containing only the data fields they need, rather than working from a single large template covering every available field. Users can select individual fields from data sets including CSC safety plate, tank container, smart container and dimensions, then download a CSV matched to those selections.
Files are validated instantly in the browser as they are loaded, with each row marked as valid or invalid and errors explained before submission. Valid rows can be uploaded immediately while rows containing errors can be downloaded, corrected and resubmitted separately. A new Quick Generate function allows an entire serial range to be created from a single shared specification, simplifying the entry of newly built container batches.
Launched in 2016, BoxTech holds technical details for more than 15.3 million containers and is used by more than 6,000 registered users worldwide.
