CS Leasing acquires Triton ISO tank container fleet in global expansion

CS Leasing Holding, an intermodal platform managed by ITE Management, has acquired the ISO tank container fleet of Triton International Limited, expanding its global portfolio to nearly 70,000 ISO tank containers and dry freight specials deployed across four continents.

The acquisition increases CS Leasing’s presence in Europe while strengthening coverage across key global trade lanes, with the company citing growing demand for tank container equipment as liquid bulk supply chains shift toward more regional production and distribution networks.

Tim May, chief operating officer of CS Leasing, said customer supply chains are becoming increasingly localised, interconnected and time-sensitive, making reliable access to equipment more critical than ever, and that the expanded operating network would allow the company to deliver more responsive service where and when customers need it.

Jennifer Polli, head of intermodal at ITE, said tank containers are an essential part of global commerce and that the sector will continue to benefit from greater operational scale and long-term capital investment. She described the deal as reflecting ITE’s conviction in the market’s long-term fundamentals and its commitment to building a stronger, more diversified global tank container platform.

ITE said the transaction reflects its broader approach to investing in critical transportation verticals with durable, recurring cash flows and essential demand across market cycles. The deal was completed through funds managed by ITE. Vedder acted as legal counsel to ITE and CS Leasing, while Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe advised Triton International.
