The deal sees the equipment, drivers and company’s customers, being managed by Suttons with the company’s founder Simon Bullard remaining in a key account management role.
The company based in Dinnington near Sheffield, founded in 1993, focuses on transporting chemical waste and fuels.
Michael Cundy, managing director, Suttons Tankers said, “This was a natural evolution with a known player in the market and is beneficial to both parties. We already have the largest shared-user chemical fleet in the UK and this acquisition allows us to focus on one of our key strategic sectors for growth. Our UK network also adds flexibility and capacity to Bullard’s customers and will deliver improved service and capability.”
Simon Bullard, founder of Bullard Ltd said, “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to formalise a relationship with a company whose track record of leading customer service and safety is well known in the industry. In this market, flexibility is key and the scale and infrastructure that Suttons offers is a real benefit to my customers and allows us to be responsive to the increased demand for our services.”
