FPS Flexible Packaging Solutions receives EcoVadis accolade

FPS Flexible Packaging Solutions has received a Platinum Medal from EcoVadis – a business dedicated sustainability assessments.

The result follows last year’s Gold Medal and the result places the company among the top 1% of companies assessed globally.

Nicolas Monard, senior central category manager, packaging material EU at YARA, said: “FPS has obtained an excellent score with Eco Vadis, a result of their focus and dedicated work on sustainability matters.

We are especially happy with their very high score on ‘Sustainable Procurement’ as this provides confidence that their upstream supply chain is well managed, which is an important element in the recently adopted CSDDD regulations.”

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes – environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
