Noxdown achieves 100% OTIF AdBlue deliveries using logistics software

Noxdown, a UK manufacturer and distributor of emission-reducing diesel exhaust fluids such as AdBlue, has, for the first time, achieved an important supply chain milestone following the implementation of Podfather logistics software.
The 100% On Time in Full (OTIF) KPI comes on top of a significant saving in administrative resource required to manage the delivery of 300,000 litres of AdBlue each week, as well as a reduced reliance on paper, which supports the company’s environmental objectives.
“We pride ourselves on customer service; so as not to over-promise nor under-deliver,” commented Emma McIntosh, commercial manager at Noxdown.
“We believe in always keeping things simple, while offering an approachable and efficient service, and this ethos is reflected in and reciprocated by Podfather.”

Prior to implementing the Podfather solution, which includes real-time tracking and notifications, route planning and optimisation, and the capture of electronic proof of delivery (POD) evidence, Noxdown used a bespoke system built around barcodes to track where a product was and other aspects required for external auditing such as product shelf life and batch codes. “Before Podfather, delivery planning was a 2 ½ to 3-person job,” McIntosh concluded. “Now with Podfather, I comfortably manage the orders and routing on my own and am pleased to report that we haven’t missed a single delivery since we started using Podfather. The feedback from customers has also been very positive, even from some of the more traditional customer sectors we serve who were old-school fans of paper PODs.”
