A range of IBCs meets demand and increased requirements in the market.

Hoyer IBC fleet grows

The HOYER Group has reached a further milestone with its 50,000th Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC). The stainless steel containers are used for demanding products in the food, chemical and cosmetic industries. In only five years, the HOYER Group’s IBC fleet has more than doubled. This increase in fleet size underlines the high level of demand for the containers. HOYER inspires confidence with comprehensive logistics solutions, many years of expertise and a range of IBCs.

HOYER offers comprehensive services, individual service packages and a range of IBCs. They have a capacity of between 500 and 1,110 litres and are used in particular by the food, chemical and cosmetics industries in China, Europe and the USA.

At the turn of the year, the IBC fleet grew to 50,000 containers, more than doubling in five years. Particularly in demand are heatable IBCs for the food industry, cylindrical containers for the paint and coatings industry and Mini Pressure Tanks (MPT) for special chemicals.

The containers’ attributes are convincing: They are safe, sustainable and have an efficient capacity. Even when in constant use, these robust stainless steel containers enable consistent product quality, have a longer service life than plastic containers and a usage cycle that is sustainable. HOYER has a global network which offers sterile and germ-free cleaning of the containers, as well as kosher and halal. As a result, greater product safety and purity is guaranteed – a service which is sought after in particular in the food sector.

“The requirements of IBCs in terms of their features are growing. We meet these not only with the right equipment, but also with comprehensive services which ensure the quality and safety of the product as well as efficient planning and delivery,” explained Stephanie Muhs, Director IBC Logistics at the HOYER Group. “With our fleet we can respond flexibly to our customers’ needs. What makes HOYER stand out is that it thinks ahead. This is why we are a pioneer and innovation leader in the IBC business.”
